The Marvelettes

I will be bummed when it starts getting super cold here in Boston, and I can't go to yard sales anymore.  Here's the yardsale score of the morning:

The Marvelettes began in a Michigan high school for a talent show and then went on to become Motown's first girl group, carving the way for other great acts like The Supremes and Martha and the Vandellas.   Here's a video of their first #1 hit Hey Mr. Postman from 1961.
