Lady Gaga
I will admit it, for the punky-indie-garage grrrl that I am, there is some mindless pop that I absolutely indulge myself in. And I've been a fan of Lady Gaga for a while now. But this video below makes me a little sad. Watch it for yourself. What are your thoughts on Lady Gaga and this video? She makes such a strong feminist statement but then... UGH...
Do celebrities feel they will lose adoring fans by proclaiming they are feminists? The battle for the F-word continues... It's like the statement we all often hear, "I'm not a feminist but..." Hey, I'm a feminist AND I like booze and boys!
