Oh, how I wish I was in Olympia in August 1991 to attend grrrl night at the IPU convention! Allison Wolfe, Nikki McClure, Sharon Cheslow* talk about the show where Jean Smith (Mecca Normal), Bratmobile, Lois Maffeo, Suture (Sharon Cheslow, Kathleen Hanna and Dug e. Bird), and the Wondertwins (Tim Green and Kathleen Hanna) played. Corin Tucker (Sleater-Kinney) also talks about Heavens to Betsy playing the IPU convention.

I always wished I had gone to IPU but instead went on a road trip to a festival in Georgia which was enjoyable but not as "herstoric" as IPU turned out.
