Nervous But Excited make a Green Album!

This is inspiring!  Kate Peterson and Sarah Cleaver of the Ann Arbor folk group Nervous But Excited made a green album.  They worked with their label Riot Grrrl Ink and printing company VGKids on their seventh album "Anchors."  The production and packaging left no carbon footprint!  To pull it off, they used recycled materials, carpooled and used renewable energy credits (RECs.)

They are opening for Ani Difranco, you can find tour dates here. They are hoping other bands will follow their lead and will write more about the process of recording and producing a sustainable album on their website soon.
