Become a Third Wave Board Member!

Dear friend,
Third Wave is seeking Board members, and we need your help to identify qualified applicants.
An application can be found here, and is due by August 7, 2009.
New board members will join 11 brilliant, energetic, and dedicated young people providing critical leadership to the only national feminist foundation for and by young women and transgender youth in the country. We would very much appreciate your recommendations in order to make our board the strongest it can be. Spread the word that we’re looking, and think about the people you know personally who might be good candidates.
In particular, we are seeking a diverse set of individuals along the lines of race, gender, age, class, geography and ability, who are willing contribute the following talents and skills to our work:
•Community Organizing
•Strategizing
•Communications
•Legal Expertise
•Financial Management and/or Investment Expertise
•Research and Evaluation
